What it's like to work with me
Pre-production
After I break down the script, I meet with the director to get a sense of their vision and how I can best support their working style. Do they want to nail down every detail or do they want room for spontaneity?
If needed, I can offer language to casting for breakdowns so talent understands what the role entails. Once actors are locked, I meet with them individually to review their intimacy scenes and how I can support them on the day. Do they want me to check in between each take or just signal if they need me so they can stay in it? If talents need changes to the scenes, I go back to the director to find a way to achieve their vision that works within the actors’ boundaries.
Then, if requested, I can write description of the action for nudity riders. I also coordinate with other department heads to prep the intimacy scenes. For example, I may ask props about what kind of whips they’re looking at for an impact scene.
Production
When I land on set, I check in with talent and other departments. If needed, I can assist with safety meetings before closed sets. On the day, I’ll be on monitor with the director to make sure everything is working. If we need to make adjustments, I can collaborate on alternatives.
My goal is to find the best way to support the team so everyone can do their best work.
Post-Production
If requested, I can consult during editing for intimate scenes to support the riders and the story we’re trying to tell.
