What Is an Intimacy Coordinator?

Why hire one?

Intimacy coordination isn't just about safety — it's a production investment. By clarifying boundaries and building trust before cameras roll, an intimacy coordinator reduces the risk of miscommunication, on-set discomfort, and costly re-shoots, keeping productions on schedule while meeting the industry's current best practices.
